Where exactly is the hotel located on the A1?
In the north, the A1 is also known as the Hansalinie. The project company DEGES, which builds there on behalf of Autobahn GmbH, calls it “the most important connection between western and northern Germany for both commercial and tourist traffic” (DEGES). Around Bremen, the junctions follow one another in this order (overview at Wikipedia): 52 Oyten, 53 Bremer Kreuz (A27), 54 Uphusen/Bremen-Mahndorf, 55 Bremen-Hemelingen, then the Weser bridge, 56 Bremen-Arsten, 57 Bremen/Brinkum and 58a Dreieck Stuhr.
At exit 55, follow the signs to the Autohof or to the Gewerbepark Hansalinie. The hotel is located at Europaallee 1–3, right on the Autohof grounds. Coming from Hamburg, you leave the A1 before the Weser bridge; coming from Osnabrück, right after it.

Fuel and food: The Autohof Bremen with its Aral petrol station is open around the clock, right next to a TotalEnergies truck stop and a McDonald's.
Charging: There is a 22 kW charging point in the hotel car park. According to the charging station register of the Bundesnetzagentur, those wanting a quick charge will find two 150 kW fast-charging points and two 50 kW points right next door on Europaallee.
Breakfast: The buffet opens at 6:00 Monday to Saturday and at 7:00 on Sundays and public holidays, and costs 14 € per person. Anyone setting off at half past six will already have had breakfast.
Roadworks at the Weser bridge
Just south of the hotel, the A1's Weser bridge is being refurbished. According to DEGES, around 130,000 vehicles cross the 540-metre-long bridge every day, about a quarter of them heavy traffic. The works will continue until early 2028, with traffic flowing on two lanes per direction in the meantime. Anyone arriving in the evening and continuing their journey the next morning can plan around the roadworks with ease.
